Jen Jen Yeh, MD, is a Professor of Surgery and Pharmacology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also serves as Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Surgery, Director of the UNC Lineberger Pancreatic Cancer Center of Excellence, Co-Leader of the UNC Lineberger Clinical Research Program, and an Oliver Smithies Investigator.

She received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and completed her general surgery residency at Boston Medical Center, a research fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and a surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center before joining the UNC faculty in 2005. She maintains an active clinical practice in endocrine diseases and pancreatic cancer, and her laboratory applies genomics to identify and validate new therapeutic targets.

In 2015 she defined clinically significant molecular subtypes of pancreatic cancer, and her group developed a single-sample classifier that has shaped how the disease is classified and treated. In PAC-AID she serves as an external mentor for Project 2.
